Recently the global warming alarmist community has celebrated a “study” released by a UC Berkeley professor’s “team” of researchers that they claimed proves global warming is occurring at dangerous levels. The uncritical, sycophants in the mainstream press applauded the development and pronounced the science settled. Again. (Yeah, we’ve heard that one before.)
Well, there’s just a little problem. Actually, a huge problem.
Great Britain’s Mail Sunday revealed that a leading member of the team that supposedly arrived at this conclusion has accused the Berkeley professor “of trying to mislead the public by hiding the fact that” the group’s “research shows global warming has stopped.”
Oops, as we say here.
Not only not getting hotter, but stopped.
Reports the Mail: “Prof Judith Curry, who chairs the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at America’s prestigious Georgia Institute of Technology, said that Prof [Richard] Muller’s claim that he has proven global warming sceptics wrong was also a ‘huge mistake’, with no scientific basis.”\
Not just wobbly. But “no scientific basis.”
Gee, another settled science claim by the global warming alarmists shot down. This one was shot down in record time.
By the way, Curry isn’t just a dissenter, she’s “a distinguished climate researcher with more than 30 years experience and the second named co-author of the BEST project’s four research papers.”
Catch that?
The “second named co-author” of the research Mulller and alarmists have apparently been misrepresenting.
Ah, global warming. Can you spell S-C-A-M?
